SHANTI-THE PEACE

"The Shanti word  comes from Vedas (The book of knowledge). Vedic  mantras (hymn) have used his word at several places. There is no equivalent word in the English language. However, the closest are The Peace, The Pacification and the Tranquility. The Shanti word becomes proper noun for naming human e.g.  for females, such as Shanti, Shanti Devi, Shanta; for males, such as Shanti Kumar, Shanti Singh etc.

At the end of Yajana (Homa), worship, puja, auspicious ceremony and religious discourse, Shanti word is chanted three time as above. It means the peace be spreaded on the earth (Prithvi loka), in the sky (Antariksha) and the starry region (Dyauh Loka).


The Present World and Peace
Is there any shanty pervading in thus or in the global environment. This is a subject of deep thinking, the utmost demand of the present time, that intellectuals, scholars, and politicians must feel that could the sciences and materialist movement bring peace, truth and bliss in the universe.
What we telescoping in this era? (a) the competition among communities, countries,  global aspects for the development of infinite powers, the weapons, the wars, the victories, the defeats (b) the space age race...."
